New for the 2024/25 Season is the Golden Bay Kayaks Paddle Pass to complement our popular Seasons Pass.

Purchasing a Pass to Paddle or a Seasons Pass means you can paddle when you want to and save up to 25% on normal retail price.

How does it work?

Purchase a 10-visit pass to give you the perfect opportunity to explore the back yard of Tata Beach whether it is for the love of the water, regular excercise or just trying something new, don't bring a thing all the equipment will be here waiting for you.

Easy to use.  Purchase the SUP pass online and you will be given a code.  When you are ready,  go to the Golden Bay Kayaks website to BOOK NOW and in the checkout cart there is a  red "Apply promo or gift card" and then just pop in your code in there. The system will keep a tab of how many uses you have had.

Suitable for those:

  • New to Stand Up Paddle boarding who would like to learn on modern and excellent equipment

  • Would like to turn up and just grab the gear and go. No need to muck around with getting equipment to the beach.

  • Regular exercise 

  • Living or staying in Golden Bay and would like access to the water, to explore the stunning coastline

Includes:

  • Safety instruction on how to use the board correctly

This pass will initially give you 20 visits and if you need more during the season we will top this up.

An initial induction and safety briefing on your first day.

Download the METSERVICE Marine app on your phone. Always check the weather before going on the water.
Kayakers wishing to go solo on the sit on tops must be able to re-entry.
The CODE is allocated to the name in the initial booking process. The code is non-transferable to any other user.

Getting kiwis on the water to explore their backyard, to help reduce the FOMO of their overseas beach holiday, we are going to help by offering 1 day free when you book 4 days to explore the Abel Tasman National Park.

To kayak the entire length of the Abel Tasman should be on everyone’s bucket list. It is a true sea kayaking destination suitable for those with a sense of adventure and a love of nature.

Kayaking the length of the Abel Tasman is very achievable, you will need a minimum of 2 nights and 3 days, if you want to spoil yourself take longer! (It's around 11-13hrs paddling time.) We have made planning even easier for you, click on stories and this will take you through to our page, a brief introduction to kayaking in the Abel Tasman National Park.
