For those wanting a little more adventure - a real taste of what the Abel Tasman has to offer in a compact tour

Golden Bay Kayaks Right on the beach Opti.jpg

The Northern End of the Abel Tasman, it is a breathtaking destination. The landscape is a tapestry of beauty, the seals are the predominant visitor. This is the best two day kayaking trip in New Zealand.

Its a trip that is suitable for those wanting a bit more adventure and to experience New Zealand at its natural best, maybe a bit short of time but still want to paddle the Abel Tasman.

Leaving from Tata Beach the journey towards Separation Point is remarkable. Remember to book your campsite with the Department of Conservation . For this trip Mutton Cove is recommended (Paddle time to Mutton Cove is 3-4hr).

Pick up is at Totaranui.
