Sea Kayaking, Abel Tasman National Park
Golden Bay, Nelson New Zealand
Tata Islands provide a stunning backdrop as you launch straight in the Abel Tasman National Park.
Motu and Ngawhiti Islands (Tata Islands) are home to New Zealands largest shag colony. We then amble past our resident seal family and see if they are at home or out fishing. We are lucky to have a beautiful granitic archway to paddle through. This is the perfect photo opportunity. This arch is the gateway to stunning Wainui Bay, home of amazing rock formations and secluded golden beaches.
Our friendly and knowledgeable guides will fill you in on local tales and history of the Abel Tasman National Park and surrounding area.
No previous experience is required. We cater for all ages and paddling abilities in our stable double kayaks. A full pre-trip safety briefing helps make your trip fun and enjoyable.
Family guided tour package is also available.
