Here are some suggestions;

1. Kayak from Golden Bay and drop off kayak at Totaranui, then walk back to Golden Bay. 2 to 4 days kayaking, 1 to 2 days walking.
2. Kayak from Golden Bay and drop off kayak at Totaranui, then walk south to Marahau. 2 to 4 days kayaking, 3 days walking.
3. Kayak from Golden Bay to Marahau, walk north to Totaranui or Golden Bay. 3 to 5 days kayaking, 3 to 4 days walking.
