Paddle into Abel Tasman National Park from Golden Bay
- Escape the congestion of the southern end of the park. Start from Golden Bay and enter the spectacular and less crowded northern end. - One way rentals are possible- paddle south with the predominant northerly winds behind you. You can paddle the entire Abel Tasman if you want. - We provide stable double kayaks plus a full-personalised safety briefing and all kayak gear. - Kayak / walk option available. For multi day trips we use Dobbe Double or Sequest single kayaks chosen for their carrying capacity and stability. (Check Our Kayaks for the details about Dobbe Double) You are responsible for your own safety and the equipment during the rental period. Sea kayaking has associated risks.Our requirements are; - Minimum age 14 years old - Minimum number of 2 people - Everyone needs be water confident - At least one member of each group must have previous experience in sea activities, outdoor weather, camping and map reading.
